About

Tina Renick, RDN, CEDS is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with over 20 years of experience in the nutrition health field. She earned a B.S. in Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise from Virginia Tech. Tina completed her dietetic internship through Virginia Tech in 2000, and obtained registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics that same year. Tina has worked as a clinical dietitian at hospitals and in outpatient clinics, and has nutrition counseling experience working with both adults and children. She has held board certification in pediatric nutrition, and is a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist through the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp). Tina practices as a non-diet dietitian in a weight inclusive setting, and uses an “all foods can fit” philosophy with clients. She believes in an intuitive eating approach, and while disordered eating may mask internal hunger and fullness, the ultimate goal is to help each client work toward eating in a way that honors his or her body’s own natural cues.
